Gas consumption - round Jumbuck BBQ

Having recently acquired one of the above, does anyone know how long a 2kg gas bottle should last?

I must be getting soft as I actually read the the instructions, according to which the specs are a single 10.9MJ burner with a 0.2mm injector.

Hi Paul, according to my "useless information file" one (1) Kg. of LPG contains app. 50 Mj of energy. Assuming that my info is correct you only need to establish how many Mj your burner uses per hour (10.9?) so if that is the case you should be good for about 9 hours of flat chat burner time out of your full two Kg cylinder.
