forerunner console

have just had a t700 auto box put into my sons 84 forerunner. Because of the longer box the interior console does not quite fit. Does anyone know of a substitute console that may fit rather than having to cut and refit the original?

You can try a Commodore console, as the shifter that goes with the t700 is most probably out of a late vn plus commodore.

Turbo 700 was fitted to the VS commodore and maybe even
the VP.....Give one of them a try
