Access to Permits for Lasseter Highway and beyond & for AP Lands

Confirming that these are easily obtainable online from the Central Lands Council in Alice Springs. We obtained ours within about three hours of submission.

Not so the Mulga Park Road (from Stuart Highway near Kulgera) beyond Victory Downs west to the Western Australian Border. We applied to the AP Lands during April for commencement of travel during May. We have been and have returned and still no sign of the permits (positive or negative) hence we turned north at Victory Downs and then did the return trip to the WA border from Yulara. Worth doing anyhow especially to view Mount Connor from the south.
