excellent trip thru SA to fliders ranges-woomera-coober pedy to alice springs-tennant creek-across to mt isa .truck strike with gas being short in offroad areas caused some modifications to travel-but still a lot to see and do.weather cool to locals but great to us.10,000ks. and met a lot of gem fossickers and interesting travellers.recommend c/van parks in MURGON QLD/BELLA NSW.many good camp sites on the road but like to support the smaller towns where possible.ready for any excuse to go again soon.
We had excellent contact with Truckies and Wide load movers by using channel 40 to
be aware of the many wide loads on the move and also to let truckies know we were aware of their prescence behind us and that we would take the first opportunity to let them pass.Not impressed with many travellers actions re not allowing trucks to pass in order to allow the drivers to get on with their job.
