 Handy Odds & Ends

On Friday, I took the trailer to its Maker and God-father to check the brakes and bearings. They are now fine - needed a little tweeking after the trip to Northern Rivers (NSW).

Whilst in the vicinity I visited Piranha, having picked up one of their catalogues at a TLC meeting (Toyota Landcruiser Club). I picked up a rubber cap for the Anderson plug and a handle that screws onto the plug and reduces the fiddle of pushing plug into the socket. Also bought a second rated rated bow shackle and a couple of maps. Happily planning now.

A little comment about the Thumper - I've been keeping an eye on the charge and after three months just sitting in the trailer, it is still showing 12.8 v. I'm impressed although I don't have much comparison with other batteries. Any thoughts?
