In 2007 I traveled up the Kidman Way from Melbourne to Cairns.
From Cairns where I met my brother we traveled North via Daintree to Cooktown.
From Cooktown we went to Lakefield National park. We then traveled North again to Weipa and Mapoon. Camping on the beach is the best with sea life passing by right in front of you.
Back to Weipa then on toward the Tip of the Cape via the OTL.
What a great place to explore. If we only had more time.
I guess I will have to go back to see the places I missed.
