HI Heather and John, I'm enjoying your blogs - and your photos are really beautiful, well done. Can't wait to hear some big fish stories - guess you'll be at Exmouth/Ningaloo soon enough. What camera do you have?

Thank you Michelle.
It is just my normal diary which I used to write into a notebook each trip before I joined EO, so good to be able to put the photos into the appropriate places though.
We have just had a few days in the Kennedy Ranges and been out of touch with the outside world. It was a beautiful place and well worth the dust and corrugations.
My camera is a Pentax SLR Digital K200D, nothing flash really. I bought Pentax as I already had lens to fit from my old analogue SLR. It is difficult to take a bad photo with an SLR as they are so superior to the little compact ones.
My husband teases me about being an EO addict and I do love the site. So thanks to you and David for that too.

Thanks Warwick,
Very nice of you to say so.
I see that you are from Carnarvon, as we are at present.
I am just checking out some possible camping places for after we leave here tomorrow - going north to have a look around Coral Bay then to Exmouth and Cape Range N Pk. Do you have any suggestions for places we could get our van into? Just wondering what any of the roads off the bitumen will be like after the rain. They dont have to be free but we dont want to stay in van parks for another week or so at least.

Loving reading your blog. We are about to attempt the Wool Wagon trip mid Sept to early Oct in our Kia Sportage (little 4WD) trailing a small camper van. Hope we make it ;-) The Wool Wagon trail goes from Geraldton to Mullewa to Pindar, up to Murchison Settlement to Gascoyne Junction, ( we want to enter part of Kennedy Ranges if poss with our car) then go to Carnarvon and then up to Exmouth. Any tips, good bush camping spots welcome or advice on places to avoid.
Cindy
