Broke Inlet at the mouth

Just spent the last weekend at the Broke Inlet mouth down south of WA. A remote place only accessible by boat or 4x4 fishermans track. The Broke Inlet is located between two national parks dEntrecasteaux National Park and Shannon National Park. The inlet is not part of either park because I understand it is still being commercially fished.

We had a great long weekend there. Found it to be very quiet, and away from it all. There were a number of other campers but none that we could see from our camp. We occasionally saw one drive past.

At the mouth in the ocean my mate caught a couple of herring and other fishermen were catch salmon. In the boat going in the channel we caught about 20 juvenile of a range of species, pink snapper, wrasse, garfish, rock cod, tarwhine, etc. Unfortunately no keepers.
