Well, it has been a while coming, but I finally got the rooftop tent mounted to Miss Turtle. A huge thank you to the guys at Town and Country 4x4 accessories outlet here in Sydney for their patience with my constant over the shouldering.

The 48Kg tent has been mounted on heavy duty Rhino Racks

The original gas lift struts have been replaced with heavy duty ones

The tent itself, although described as the "Econo" version and the smallest in the range, has a surprisingly large amount of room inside

So, there you have it. Tent fitted ready to go. Cant wait to give it it's first run.
