Stayed at the Big 4in Hay(NSW) for three nights, it is a nice park. Hay has a lot of history, with the Dunera Boys story being prominent as they were held in an internment camp there. Italian and Japanese were also interned there during the war. Hay has five museums with the Shear Outback probably being the most popular, with it's sharers hall of fame and shearing demo's held several times daily.
We packed up and headed north to Ivanhoe (210klms), seeing plenty of emu's and an abundance of water bird life in the water lining the road. After buying fuel for the Navarra and our bellies we took the fairly rough dirt road to Menindee ,another 200+klm,s. It was a good test for the vehicle as well as the Topaz van as well as showing up any dust leaks of which there weren't too many. Put the tyres down to 28-30psi on van and Navarra and sat on about 80 which was comfortable with the van towing like a dream. Lobbed into Menindee Lakes caravan park over looking the lake which nearly full after being bone dry a couple of years ago. The other campers spoken to have been catching yellow belly easily getting their limit in quick time. We head to Broken Hill tomorrow for several days.

Hi David,
Hope you have a great trip! We are currently trying to sell our camper trailer and have been looking at the Topaz as the replacement. Will be interested to hear your thoughts and experiences with it at the end of your trip.
Cheers,
Shane
