Thanks for this. I would like to know the name of the place you camped near Mt Isa - the place you describe in Day 4. Thanks very much. Megan

It was Dejarra. Mentioned on day 5 I was a bit under the weather when I visited there.
Namaste Saddhen.

Hello,
I'm really enjoying reading your blog.
We are heading out that way in a few weeks, so it's good to find out what's happening out there.
Everythingyou write about is up to date and you describe it all without going on too much.
Thank you.

Hi Saddhen,
Thanks for your great blog. We are heading for the Painted Desert in mid-August then on to Dalhousie. So looking forward to it after your comments. We were hoping to go to Mt Dare but I think that will be beyond us as we will be towing a camper. Such good info.

Hi John 'n' Min. If you have 250mm clearance and drop tyre pressures to 25 psi and travel at 35 kph you like many other should be OK. I only had 170mm clearance in my overloaded Suzuki.
