11/4 bananas, eggs & a loaf of bread

What joy to find a campsite facing the beach at Surfleet cove in the Lincoln National Park.
Cheese and wine, a delightful dinner and an early night to catch up on some sleep. That is
until Gavern hears rustling outside the tent and discovers a kangaroo eating one of our
newly purchased bananas. It clearly is used to being around people as it is no hurry to
leave. Gavern then has to move all the food in reach and the rubbish. So much for paradise.
The morning reveals the extent of the carnage. 3 bananas ripped open and then discarded.
They could have at least eaten them.
In all our preparations an essential was the egg container that would nestle and protect
them. WRONG. We open the fridge to see its contents covered in slime. Funny how Gavern
suddenly needed to fix something on the car.
Decided to walk to the monument in tribute of Matthew Flinders. Rated moderate with a steep
section. Really need to get our act together, no sunscreen or water. If that was rated
moderate then I'm in big trouble. Gavern found me crawling on hands and knees begging
for water. Forget the view, send in the rescue party. On our return we found the bread
container and the bag from a loaf of bread on the ground. 3 very contented looking kangaroos
hopped off with not even a crumb to be found.

and a "SMALL" amount of fishing was done
No Desk, No Boss, No Stress. :)
