Holey Toledo batman it's blowing a gale (7th of April)

Grab your red shoes Dorothy we're off to Kansas. Half of the tents in the camp ground
have either been packed up or blown to pieces. We are tied to the bed twister style with
only Gavern's weight holding us down. Waiting to be picked up and deposited back in
Melbourne.
1am 2 am 3am 4am it's just like the Johnny O'keefe song - shake rattle and roll.
Finally realize that the pillow is resting against a pole and every time the wind gusts it
feels like my brains are being shaken out of my skull.
5 am ahhhhh the wind has died down. Time for some sleep. But wait, the noise of the wind has
been replaced with Gavern's snoring. Do I bother going out to the car to get the ear
plugs? Been awake most of the night what's a few more hours without sleep!
