The lily white's make an appearance - April 24

Look out Kalbarri I've finally exposed my lily white legs. They last made an appearance
in January 2010. It's so bright that Gavern needs to wear his sunglasses inside the
tent. It's finally all too much for him so he goes fishing. I wait with excited
anticipation for tonight's meal as the cost of the bait is almost as expensive as a
seafood platter at the most exclusive restaurant you can think of. He returns empty handed
but smells decidedly like fish. Turns out that baby squid are not pre inked and when he cut
one for bait he ended up with ink on his glasses, face arms, legs basically everywhere. Look
out for a future episode of IFish who were filming on a boat right in front of him, never
know you might just see it all happen in the back ground.
Perhaps I finally need to interject at this point. After weeks of the "Female" perspective on our trip I have fianlly been push to the brink and MUSt make comment.
Yes there was Ink splattered all over me, but as most Male fisheman know these are the experiences that bring us back to fishing. And yes the bait does cost a lot, but imagine beiong cooped up with a female 24/7 in a small camper. I'm sure you would all pay twice as much for a small amount of peice and quiet. !!!
by the way... my fishing didn't catch anything, yes AGAIN, but the story of the one that got away is going to live on for ever. A massive run on the line and when I finnally retrieve my sinker, the hooks are both broken off half way up the shank. Yes both hooks. Imagine the wopper I am now foretelling as the "one that go away". This story will rival any fishiong yarn. So bait is such a small price to pay. :)
