ell today it was a real start. After picking up Louise last night we had a very nice pizza at a pasta place next door to the hotel. Up early we went to the Adelaide Central Markets for breakfast and to pick up all our fruit and veggie supplies. If you are ever in Adelaide then the markets are a must, morning or night. The food is excellent and our bacon and egg toasted sandwiches were the best.
Fed and stocked up we went to Snowys Camping Place and bought a camp oven. Most probably won't use it till we are in Queensland. Then on the road. louise took over the driving for the day and we headed up to Port Pirie stopping at a few of the towns that the highway now by passes, and found some very interesting places to come back to. One was Crystal brook. Full of stone Victorian houses in absolutely excellent condition. And a reasonable price of $300,000 plus for those who want to move out of Sydney. Train station near by but the only problem is that the train only goes through twice a week and then does not stop. Oh well. We dropped into Port Pirie and while is has a population of almost the size of Orange has all the hallmarks of a dying town. Its a pity and there is some beautiful buildings there as well and its European history goes back to the 1840s. We gave Part Augusta the miss as the pollution from the power station was too much. I believe it is to be closed soon and from the pollution we could see it is not a moment too soon. It burns brown coal froLeigh Creek in SA.
Tonight we are in Hawker at a very nice caravan park. The sun is setting over the Adelaide Hills. No clouds so the photos are not spectacular.

Tomorrow we up up early (Sunrise shots) and then off to Marree to pick up the tag along tour. We might do a few deviations on the way as there looks like very interesting things to do.
