Well our preparation is almost complete fro our big trip. I set off to Adelaide next Wednesday 24 June after retiring to Drive to Adelaide where I pick up Louise before we drive to Marree to meet up with our tag along tour (run by John Cantrell or Australian 4x4) that is going to take the back tracks to Alice and then across to Jervois and Batton Hill before tackling the Hay River Track through to Birdsville, Innamincka, Cameron Corner, and finishing at White Cliffs. When we leave the group we will be going to Broken Hill for a little R&R and equip, ment checking before we head back up through Mutawintji National Park to Wannaring into Queensland to visit as many national parks we can over the next two months, after another deviation to Innamincka. The Northen point of our trip is Mt Isa. The aim is to visit the National parks from Diamantina through to Canarvon George. Being amateur photographers we are looking forward to taking heaps of spectacular photos.

We will be camping all the way in our Black Wolf tent. My main comfort will be the stretcher and 4WD mat. We have been testing the equipment over the last 12 months and feel we have it pretty refined for what we want to do, but no doubt there is still some learning to be had.

For those that want to keep track of our movements I intend blogging daily and uploading whenever we have internet connection. I will also be uploading photos as we go.

If you check EOTrackMe it should show you where we are each day. The link is http://www.exploroz.com/EOTrackMe/Default.aspx#d=3E752539-3907-42D6-BB79-95D8149B8A41
or just click the link in the menu above.

FOr those that don't know we have a Navara D22, with strengthened suspension by Ultimate Suspensions at Ingleburn, NSW, bull bar, winch, drawers, fridge, Razorback canopy, water tank, long range fuel tank, a Yeti power system and all the recovery gear you can think off including a set of new Bog outs as a back up.
