An interesting read. We drove up the Strezlecki to Innamincka camping at Cullyamurra waterhole and then through to Cameron Corner and broken hill from 12 July to 22 july. Camped at Montecollina Bore. Not much in the way of trees, but a good camping spot. Still have to write up my blog. My photos are at

Thanks Graham, I've added some more photos today.
I look forward to your blog. My blogs are written on the go so are not in the most literary style!
Happy travels,

Hi Min and John, sounds as though you had a wonderful trip. We are getting close to Mt Isa and enjoying the 30 deg days and cool nights as well as the amazing sights we are seeing. Have just spent a few Days in Diamantina NP.
Cheers,

Sounds like you've had a ball. We were at Innamincka at the same time but camped out at Bourkes Grave site. We headed south as soon as the rain started fearing we might be stuck for longer than we had planned. Thanks for sharing the adventures with us.

Hi Mick,
I must say we gave each other a questionning look when the rain started but decided to risk it. We were lucky that the rain stopped overnight.
Soooo much to see in this big country. We'll be off again ASAP.

Hi Min
Thanks for sharing your great pictures and details on your great trip, sounds like you had a ball. One great part of the trip that may not be able to be repeated for a very long time is the Cooper Creek Ferry Crossing, and it is great to see you were able to experience it.
Cheers
