Hillarys Triathlon 2 08/09 Season

Ah the favourite location (down the road from home), the daily training location Hillarys. This race was similar to the first race of the Tri Events series this year at Hillarys. Same course, longer swim (750M not 500M as per the last one) distance. There are a few questions from some of the competitors saying the swim was about 100 metres longer than the scheduled 750 however we all had to do the same swim.

Also on this event I was using a loaned bike from Al's Cycle Surgery at Heathridge as my bike was involved in an incident with the garage roof last week. Yes on the roof the Michelle's car comming home from training I drove into the garage without taking the bike off - Dooh, blonde blah blah I know. So thanks to Al for the loan of his personal road bike for the event.

You will see that my running time is getting better each time I compete. One day I will be a better runner, just have to keep at it I guess.
