 About Me

David and Michelle (owners of I.T. Beyond Pty Ltd. and ExplorOz.com) have lived and travelled extensively throughout Australia and have drawn their passion for creating this site from their love of the Australian outback and their many journeys.

Our Landcruiser is recognisable. WA custom plates - EXPLOROZ, plus vehicle signage, wheel cover, etc. Yes, its probably getting on a bit but its got everything, been everywhere, and is part of our family. 1997 80 Series GXL Diesel (manual), with aftermarket Turbo (Denco). Full setup for long distance remote touring. Kit includes;

*Denco turbo
*custom long range sub-fuel tank (total fuel load capacity 300L)
*custom internal stainless steel water tank (65L)
*Double Outback cargo drawers with fridge slide and side panels.
*lifted suspension
*Barrett 950 HF radio
*Custom dash-mount laptop stand
*Custom roof console
*Uniden UHF
*fond users of Bridgestone 694 tyres
*Paratus "Parrally" driver and passenger seats with armrest
*Rhino roof rack
*rear spare wheel carrier
*under bonnet fitted Twine shower
*under bonnet fitted air compressor
*twin 100 watt Hella driving lights
*recovery gear/other as required
*41L Engel fridge fitted as required

We also have a second vehicle with WA custom plates - EXPLOREOZ. It is a white Kia Sportage. This vehicle is used more for urban user than the larger Landscruiser which these days only comes out of the garage for a trip. The Kia has proven itself to be exceptionally well suited to sand driving.
