Yes Kev it was great to finally meet you face to face. As you know, I've never attended any of the Member Gatherings, and have only met a couple of people face to face in all the 10 years we've been running the site. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing?!! Only you know the truth of how very shy I am now ;-) I really enjoyed meeting Sam and your gorgeous full of fun little girls - I just feel terrible that your trip turned into such a stress - it's never easy with kids, but so much worse when things go wrong with the vehicle. I hope you know that I do appreciate all that your family endured - I hope some of it was worthwhile?! Best regards, and really sorry that you can't make it to Wiluna. Has anyone thought of a National Gathering in Tassie? I'm thinking of walking the 5 day Overland Track in the next couple of years sometime...sounds more feasible that our idea to ride our bikes from Perth to Sydney...

Hi Kev, it was great meeting you and your family. Sorry you had the car trouble but glad it worked out ok and you arrived home safely. We may meet up again somewhere, sometime. Say hi to Sam and the kids from Col and Sandy.

Col and Sandy,
Was good to meet you both.
The car issue could have happened anytime so sometimes you have to make the best of what cards you are dealt ;)
We just returned from a great weekend away at Mt Moffatt in Carnarvon National Park so was glad it didn't happen up there.
Cheers Kev

Kev. now I want to go to Carnarvon NP after looking at the link. We were just saying we need to take off with our Ultimate Camper. We were thinking of heading out to Birdsville again, so maybe it's a detour to Carnarvon on the way !
You certainly don't let the dust settle for too long.
I'll have to get a blog name if this keeps up. Cheers Sandy

Hi Kev, I enjoyed reading your blogg. The "Ridge" & the surrounding areas are a great place to visit & I feel it is one of those places where you need to spend a bit of time in the pub & club & get to know the locals & they are well worth getting to know! Mind you they are a pretty private lot. LOL Sorry to hear Darkie was reluctant to venture further into NSW,
but give her time & she will come to realise our roads are easy to travel! Take care & good wishes to you & your family.
