Mick, Great to read your account of the Connie Sue. What a great trek it is, very diverse and incredibly beautiful. In 2007 we turned onto it from the Ann Beadell and headed north and again in 2008 drove the entire length from Rawlina in the south. We have spent time at Lillian ( brillant sunsets here) and Sandercock Points and at Waterfall Valley before it was closed off. In 2008 managed to find our way out to the Sidney Yeo Chasm for an over night stop. Yes at times the track can be rough but taking it easy is the way to go, on most days we were lucky to travel 90 kms in total, plenty of time to absorb the flora and fauna that exists out there. Cheers Michael. It was one of the last Beadell ttacks for me. Unfortunately I didn't get the opportunity to head into
Stanley Yeo or the Plumridge Lakes but we have to save something for later I'm sure. Thanks for the kind words. Mick
