You'll find the ExplorOz members a great community to belong to - friends on the road before you meet them. When we set our on a trip in 2006, we had email invites to visit members and places to stay along the way. All great people. On our trip last year, a member looked us up, and was a great help during an unexpected extended stay in his town.

Knowledge is wide ranging too. Better identification of wildlife here than on more specific forums. My elder daughter once went camping with her camping enthusiast sister. Computer enthusiast elder daughter had her laptop in the tent, and photographed an animal in the camp to ask me what is it. Late at night and within ten minutes i had the answer from ExplorOz.

Welcome aboard. As you can probably tell, I've been blogging on the site for about 6 months slowly adding trips from various years. Thoroughly enjoying getting a few photo's up and now adding snippets of video to some of the older entries.

Will look forward to reading about your adventure as you blog it for us.
