Membership Options

When you register as a Member on ExplorOz, we offer you the choice of two styles of Profile. Membership provides you with numerous interactive facilities and extra features that include Rig Pics, Photo Galleries, Blogs, Member Messaging and much more. You can setup your Member Profile with your real name, your business name, or an anonymous screen-name. The choice is yours to use these features and embrace our online community in any way you wish. Simply choose the option that best fits your needs.

Personal Membership

This option is designed for individuals who want a personal profile. First year of Membership is $60. Renewal $40.

Business Membership

This option is designed for people that wish to include information about their business activities in their Member Profile. In addition to all the features of Personal Membership, we also provide Business Members with facilities to promote their business in the ExplorOz Directory with the option of a Standard or Premium Listing. Rates are:

• Introductory Trial 3 months: Standard $60, Premium $180


• Annual: Standard $200, Premium $660.

My Home

MyHome is accessed from the unique Member's Log On Bar, this page is custom-built and personalised to you. Information shown is based on your last session history - containing short summaries and links to site updates in all interactive areas, site content, Directory Listings, Shop Products, view all Latest News stories. You can also perform administrative tasks such as pay the renewal on your annual Membership and modify MyProfile.

My Profile

MyProfile is a major feature of My Home. Here you can edit and maintain your personal details - this is totally confidential and is not accessible to anyone other than ExplorOz staff, however the information you enter here is used to auto-fill certain fields in the Forum, Shop, Trader and all interactive areas so it is imperative that all details are correct.

Member Messages

A private facility for member-member online text communication without using the Forum, and without the need for either party to disclose private information such as email address in order to communicate. Ideal for sharing information in a secure environment.

MyBlog

This is your personal Blog space and the limitations are almost endless as to what you can do here. You can use MyBlog as your diary, jot down your thoughts and experiences for the day or use it as a place to share files and ideas - its up to you how you wish to use it. With a wide range of tags, you can categorise each Blog Entry and you can upload photos and even file attachments. MyBlog gives you control over deciding which of your Blog entries is open for comment from others - only Members can enter a comment into another Member's Blog.

My Gallery

The Gallery allows you to upload and store 24 images at any one time in your Profile for others to view.

My Rig

My Rig enables you to upload 2 images and a description of your vehicle and/or camper/van that can be displayed in the Members Rig page (public page). Pic 1 can automatically be added to the footer of all your Forum posts if you chose (select this feature by enabling a Signature File in My Profile)

Member Money

Each Member has an account that automatically accrues 5% of the money you spend on purchases from our online Shop (excludes postage charges). Member Money can be used on subsequent orders to discount your buying. The shopping cart will calculate this for you automatically.

Free Display Trader Ad

Members are entitiled to one free display ad per year in the trader (worth $14.95)

200 Pointplace Credits

(worth $5 in PointPlace and PlotSwap)

Unlimited iMapPlot map views

(Visitors only have 5 free map views)

Free Postage & Handling

on purchases over $60 in the ExplorOz Shop (applies only to products shipped by ExplorOz, excluding permits, Australia only)

Members Trips & Gatherings

Trips & Gatherings is an online facility for Members to coordinate a group of people together for a trip or gathering anywhere in Australia. As each Gathering is configured into the system a new post in the Forum will be automatically created to promote it and at conclusion of trip the organising Member can upload a trip report and photos.

Members FileSwap

FileSwap enables you to upload, share and download utilitiy files and helpful documents submitted by other members.

Members Rewards

All Members automatically join our Rewards Program. Rewards are promoted online only - no junk mail. Simply lookup the Rewards Page online to browse current discounts offered Australia-wide.
