Unpaved Sections

The Brindle Creep Loop Road including Brindle Creek and Antarctic Beech Day Use Areas have been closed due to ongoing slippery and boggy Road conditions . For further enquiries contact Kyogler Office 0266320000.Summerland Way closed to trucks only due to damaged road.

Not Suitable for Caravans

Tweed Range Scenic Drive is open on a restricted basis

The Tweed Range Scenic Drive in the Border Ranges National Park is open to cars but wet conditions have made it not suitable for buses or cars towing caravans or trailers . For further enquiries contact Kyogler Office 0266320000.

Stoney Creek Road is closed due to a bridge collapse from recent floods, that prevents passage from the Old Pacific Highway to The Grandis. Access to The Grandis is open from The Lakes Way along Stoney Creek Road.

At high tide sections of the beach front may be impassable - plan your trip to travel at low tide. If conditions change that make the beach front impassable it may be temporarily closed again to all vehicles until conditions improve.

all dunes between the Lavis Lane and Anna Bay accesses are closed to driving

4WDriving is only permitted within the white marker poles.
Access via the Lavis Lane or Anna Bay entrances only.

Damaged stairway - Wilsons Headland Walk

Wilsons Headland Walk (near Diggers Camp) is open, however storm damage to the base of the beach stairway means that there is no pedestrian access to the beach from this walk at the moment.

Permanently Closed - Walk in only - camping allowed.
Access to Dirringan Lookout and Shelley Headland is only possible from Lake Arragan in the south.
