Trek Notes:
Western Deserts A new region for Western Australia that covers a vast area - east to the Western border, south to Kalgoorlie, and north to Halls Creek. The population is sparse, the challenges many, and the preparation for 4WD travel in this region is essential.
Canning Stock Route The long awaited Canning Stock Route (CSR) trek is now on-line. Widely regarded as the toughest and most remote trek in the world, the trek covers from Wiluna to Halls Creek and all the sights in between. A must read for anyone planing an assault on the CSR.
Mud mapsTake another look at the 53 trek notes on ExplorOz. All the trek notes now have mud maps to give you an idea where the trek is in Australia and highlights the exact route that the trek follows. All map sources are available in the Adventure Shop. We now indicate the minimum number of days required to complete a trek & some of the more remote treks also include fuel requirements.
