Situated on the southern side of the Talawana Track, this is the site of a
bore and windmill some seven kilometres from Lindsay's
Midway Well. This site was possibly constructed to assist National Mapping Program in the 1950's and 60's. There is an unserviceable
water tank and windmill that is no longer connected.
A
hand pump- has been fitted to the
bore casing and as at August, 2015, was producing good quality drinking water.
If travelling from the east, the first turn off you arrive at is to this
bore site. The turn to the
well is about 500 metres further west.
