Description of Durack River, Gibb River Rd

This river crossing is at the bottom of a steep hill so if the water level is high from monsoonal wet season rainfall it can cut access along the Gibb River Road. May often still hold water well into the dry season. Some nice campsites alongside the tree-lined river bank on the lower side, but outside the dry season these should be avoided due to the risk of flash flooding.
