Description of Kalumburu Road & Carson Creek

The point at where the Carson Creek cross the Kalumburu Road is quite lovely and could be a good area to pull over on rocky banks beneath shady trees. The crossing usually remains wet all season and can be quite deep although the base is rocky. Travellers should beware that salt water estuarine crocodiles may be present at any time.
