Description of Darlington Point
Darlington Point is a small town on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River in the Riverina district. The town, which has around 1000 residents, prides itself with the Murrumbidgee where the riverside beaches are ideal for
camping, picnicking,
fishing and swimming. The town is surrounded by a tranquil red gum forest which is home to numerous birds and animals. The Darlington Point local economy is primarily sustained by sawmilling, egg and poultry production and the more traditional pursuit of grazing.
