 Description of Yulara

Yulara is a mixture of pure camping in tents, unpowered and powered camping and carvan sites. It has resort accommodation, food supplies, shopping, a hotel and several other places where you can have a prepared meal or a few beers. It is like a little town, it is well run and the rangers are really helpful. Excellent showers and toilet facilities, with a laundry as well. Plenty of tourist buses and more than one large aircraft arrives every day. You need to carefully plan your visit to Uluru (Ayres Rock) either early or late to catch the beautiful sunrise and sunsets, and be early or you will miss out on a good spot. Several days here is a must.
