 Description of Wyndham
Wyndham is a small coastal town established in 1886 on the tidal banks of the Cambridge Gulf. Flanked by the impressive Bastion Range, Wyndham lies at the confluence of five rivers – Ord, Forrest, King, Durack and Pentecost, all which enter the Cambridge Gulf and surrounding mangrove swamps, mudflats and hills.

Main attractions include the Five Rivers Lookout, Parry's Bird Sanctuary, and the Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park.

Point of Interest 
Overlooking the town of Wyndham, at the summit of the Bastian Range is the Five Rivers Lookout - so named because of the vantage point over the Ord, Forrest, King, Durack and Pentecost Rivers that merge with the Cambridge Gulf. A steep tar road leads to picnic shelters at the summit at an altitude of some 360m above sea level.
