Description of Waterfall Gorge
Water Fall Gorge Arch, Car Park and
Rock Hole.
There are a number of
camping areas a few hundred metres south east of the gorge area, but wood is scarce. If you want a campfire bring wood with you.
Water Fall Gorge, was named by Frank Hann in March 1906. The gorge covers a significant area. Take a few hours to walk around the top and in it, to soak up the majesty of the place.
The most notable feature is without doubt the natural stone arch. It’s located on the eastern side of the gorge area.
