Description of Bilbunya Dunes
Bilbunya Dunes is approximately 800 kms from
Perth if you go via
Esperance and Israelite Bay. The dunes which lie between Israelite Bay and Point Culver are about 100 metres in height and rise up above the coastal plain inside a perceived 5 square kilometres or so. They are enormous stretches of soft pure white sand which are absolutely stunning to photograph. Fresh water may be found behind the sand dunes at Point Malcolm & further east of Israelite Bay at Wattle Camp just south-west of the Bilbunya Sand Dunes.
