Description of Bribie Island National Park
This sandy island, 34klm long and up to 8km wide, is located to the east of Caboolture at the northern end of Moreton Bay and separated from the mainland by Pumicestone Passage. Access is via the Caboolture-
Bribie Island Road. The island is a popular destination for surfers, bushwalkers, birdwatchers, fisherfolk, picnickers and campers.
