 Description of Finchley Camping Area

Toilet and Fire places.
Overnight camping attracts a fee within the park and is based on an honour system.
Pit toilet and three fire places.
Overnight camping attracts a $5.00 per head camping fee. Contact NPWS Gosford (02) 4320 4200. Camping at Finchley is best undertaken off the ground as there are many established ant colonies on the camp grounds themselves. Finchley Camp Grounds offer exceptional views of Mt Yengo and surrounding area. The grounds are set within native bushland and as such, is quite rough underfoot lacking a grassy area in which to camp. There is an abundance of local wildlife that comes out at night that makes the overnight stay well worth the journey.
