When heading east, turning left continues on towards Docker River/Yulara via the abandoned section of the Gunbarrel Highway. To travel this section, you must contact the Ngaanyatjarra Council first to obtain a permit and transit conditions. There must be between two and five vehicles in your convoy and the convoy must have effective communications equipment.
