 Description of Main Camp (Mungo NP)

This campsite is located within the Mungo National Park and is the ideal base-camp for touring the area, especially as it is the closest and most convenient camp for sunset visits to the popular Walls of China site.

Basic camping facilities including pit toilets, tables and fireplaces are provided in the Main Camp which is loacted near the Arumpo Road park entrance. Camping fees are payable at the Mungo National Park visitors centre about 1km away.

A pleasant 1km walk from the main camping area is called The Grassland Nature Trail.
