Dangars Gorge campground offers a tranquil bush setting with a range of walks, wilderness and waterfalls in the scenic New England overlooking the Great Escarpment. Booking on Parks website with $6 booking fee but no camping fee.Dangar Falls is a spectacular waterfall, especially after recent rainfall. It is a volcanic crater with a deep tube that plunges to unseeable depths and creates a large swimming hole. At the top of the falls is another warmer swimming hole, which is accessible from the right of the Dangar Falls Picnic Area. Picnic facilities here a good and it is also a very good place for children as it has a playground and good toilet facilities.
