Free camp area in an attractive forested valley site between the main road and the Wannon River (small, swampy), so exposed to regular traffic noise. It is close to walks in the Southern
Grampians and only a short drive into the Victoria Valley.
The fenced car park is an old roadway, with level, grassed tent
camping area extending away to the surrounding bush. Reasonable shade from stunted Brown Stringybark, Manna Gum and white trunked Swamp Gum.
Small vehicles only. There are 6 tent-based sites with adjacent vehicle
parking, and one
campsite that is suitable for a caravan, campervan or camper trailer. Sites are unpowered. Non-flush
toilet, shared fireplaces and shared picnic tables. No drinking water supplied; limited non-potable water may be available from a seasonal rainwater tank.
No rubbish
