Damien Williamson Trip done in mid June 2006 in 2004 Nissan Pathfinder. Coober Pedy (ULP $1.519) to Oodnadatta (ULP $1.72) took 2 hours, William Creek 3 hours and Marree 2.5 hours (ULP $1.50 Mobil, $1.45 Shell). Marla unleaded was $1.645. Road in good condition, and suitable for 2WD cars. It can be difficult to overtake trucks, given the amount of dust they create, and that they can't see you. Take a walk on Lake Eyre South. Road does not have a speed limit, however watch for dips. This track can be comfortably travelled in 1 day.
