06 Toyota Prado 4 cyl turbo diesel auto. Towed trailer and freezer in the back from Brisbane to Orchid Beach in Sept 09. Spent 7 days fishing back and forth over Indian Head. Great week & Prado unstopable.

Nearly ran out of fuel, will take more next time. Driving in the soft stuff instantly kills the economy, diesel on the island was $1.20 ltr.

33" mud tyres, run at 22 psi, inland track driving and east beach, including a run from Dundubara to Indian Head near high tide thru soft sand all the way, always low range on the inland tracks and beach access, high range on the hard sand.
