kezza 3 lit petrol GQ patrol. This is a popular run - Mungerannie Roadhouse, Warburton crossing, K1 line to Poepples Corner then the QAA line into birdsville with a bit of work on Big Red. Consumption on the interdunal tracks was 17.5 lit/100km and on the dune crossings was 26 lit/100km.
sand was fairly firm 2-3 weeks after rain, very high jump ups due to high easterly winds, - no problem for patrol with 18-20 psi GVM a shade over 3 tonnes
