AlanP A very easy trip with little mud and relatively firm sand. Cruised over most sand hills in 3rd low and along the flats in 4th low. Average speed around 20 Kph.

Richard Travelled west to east after filling up at Oodnadatta. Took 3 days and 2 nights leaving Dalhousie 18 Apr arriving Birdsville 20 Apr. WAA was rough and average speed about 15kph. QAA was much better and average speed about 30kph. Track was dry and tops of sandhills soft requiring momentum to get over.
