 Cape Arid National Park

Further storm damage to road & tracks in other areas of Cape Arid National Park away from the Thomas River area has caused road conditions to remain slippery and in some places the road surfaces are submerged & have incurred localised flood damage.

The situation is being regularly assessed and monitored by DEC.

 South Coast Highway

Recent localised flooding on sections of South Coast Highway near Manypeaks and sections of Broomehill-Jerramungup Road near Ongerup has now subsided. However water remains over isolated sections of South Coast Highway between Jerramungup and Munglinup and the Pallinup River flood crossing on Formby South Road.

Some road damage has been sustained across the Great Southern’s highways and main road network and given the wet ground conditions flooding could redevelop if further heavy rainfall occurs.
