hi
Currently sorting out the Jayco camper wiring . Here is some info I have discovered . If any one wants to chime in and help out that would be great .
"patient" 2005 flamingo

Setec unit
There are 3 different models and 2 types in the St35(1) St35(2) St35(3) and St20
The 1 version is a basic 10amp single stage charger, I have this unit
The 2 version is a 10amp multi stage charger
the3 refer setec jayco web
The 35amp /20amp refers to the unit when pluged into 240volt when it operates as a pwr supply

factory wiring at setec
front boot light -white/ +black
courtesy outdoor light -white/ +black
inside ceiling lights -/+ very light grey
igniter for stove + lightlime yellowgreen / -white

Partially combined circuits with above
camper earth [white] and camper positive [black]
Both run from the trailer plug back to the underbody then separate in different directions
Earth is for the battery charge ,fridge operation ,trailer lights , trailer brakes
Positive is for battery charge , fridge supply

Setec in a factory connection 240 volt only
[-ve ] batt wired to batt post
[+ ve] batt wired to battery post

Setec 12v dc only
[-ve]batt to - batt post
[+aux in ] to +batt post

Now that I have the factory system 98% sorted the mods will start
First The positive No2 power wire [black] will be disconnected from fridge, battery and tow plug
The wire is to small for any serious work
Solder all the earths together I can see re underbody

Does anbody know if there are any suprises with the trailer lights ??
Anybody had the rear panel off to chase the wires ???
Suspect earthing problem although only ----slight--- rear lights going bright dull etc etc when blinkers are on .

Any body elses discoveries out there ???

hi all
The trailer wiring runs towbar thru A frame to under floor . It then separates to clearance lamps , rear lamps , brake wires . This includes the trailer white earth

The cabin black pos wire runs up the A frame in the same loom as the trailer loom .Continues via BP connector to the fridge and battery

The trailer cabin earths [white ] are as follows
group together in a BP connector
fridge
battery
240 volt green yellow earth, also screwed to chassis

The cabin earth disappears into the A frame and somewhere connects to the trailer loom white wire . I will investigate the junction of these 2 . Suspect a hidden BP connector agh agh .......
more voltage drop !!!
