Camped at Ben Halls cave camp ground the last 2 nights & I was suprised at how busy it was but had the usual lot that just left there garbage behide which I clean up & when I was in Grenfell i saw the car/group that left it behide so emptied it through there parked open car window
Hope they learn to take it with them next time

On the weekend there were five sites in use. Found that a walk down to Seaton's farm 1st thing in the morning had all the Bird life happening, the sunset from the cave is worth the effort & waiting for & it is a nice spot
Hope you don't get the rain & sleet we got last Friday night

Maybe we should start reporting them, EPA Victoria has an App called Report Litter both for iPhone & Android.
To be honest, I am sick & tired of cleaning up campsites & carting other people's rubbish, so I now have the App & will use it!

It seems that the Report Litter app is more for littering from a moving vehicle, it appears that for rubbish left at camp sites the procedure would be to Report Illegal Dumping on 1300 372 842 (1300 EPA VIC)

Appreciate why you did what you did, but you need to be extremely careful. Someone else may have seen you do it, and taken your rego down and passed it on. Macca.

If so, I would go to court on it as I was only returning there items, If I had kept the garbage now that could be seen as stealing.
The day before I had just Cleaned up & cleaned the BBQ & gave the National Park Rangers the garbage of a group that had left there garbage & BBQ's a mess, I had hung the garbage up over night so the wildlife would not spread it all over, I think they would give me a reference for the Judge & if they were going to play the heavy, they would have picked the wrong person

Nice spot there, years back , our first time there, it was an open area and was plenty of room but last time it had designated areas, a lot less people can camp.there now. Maybe it has been expanded now but there were only about 20 sites. Regards, Michael

Michael
I also remember when it was just a camp anywhere spot, I can also remember as a kid going there with the Wild Colonial Society & the Seaton's was still a working farm
It is still a small nominated camping area more suited to walk in camping but there are about 20 spots for camper trailers, motorhomes etc., has toilets & free gas BBQ,s
Michael we met years ago at kangaroo valley I had the Nissan 6 wheeler & was with my Son

Gday Vince, yes a great spot, we have been there a few times over 30 years and always do the walk to the cave. The whole area is appealing. Hows life? Regards Michael
