Merry Christmas from me too.
I haven't contributed much to EO this year but I'll be out there enjoying our beautiful country again next year, fishing, walking and exploring. Hope to get to the Gathering too.
Our family Christmas is in Canberra, so I'm taking my new 28ft Optimum motorhome on its maiden voyage and parking in my daughters front yard for a few days to give a few appliances a test.
Regards
Heather

Haha...yes my eldest daughter has renamed me 'Mother Fokker' as in the 'Meet the Fokkers'and related movies!

And I'm an old hand at emptying the toilet, and doing all the other outside jobs having to learn very quickly after John died suddenly.

It seems huge but with a total length of 8.6 metres, the MH isn't as long as a 4WD towing an average sized caravan. I had to get my LR licence so I can drive it though as it can be loaded up to 7 ton.

Regards,

Heather

Merry Xmas to all. Xmas day is a time to enjoy with friends and family but also a day to remember those we've lost along the track , While their traveling may be done in this world, their memory inspires us to get out there so while I will be glad to see the back of 2017, I look forward to a fantastic year of travel, exploration and the 'fellowship of the fire' in 2018.

To all of you, a merry Xmas and a safe and happy new year. Hopefully we'll get a chance to share a fire or two in a desert somewhere out there in the year ahead.

Mick and Vik.

I just booked my Maralinga tour for 10 May. So I'm one step closer to actually doing some Oz travels next year, LOL
