Just heard another woman has been rescued here in the Pilbara. Does this mean another 60 or 70 posts?

I have heard nothing down here in South Australia, and can not find anything on Google.

I hope she had a PLB.

Can you give us a bit more information, a link to the details?

Cheers

Stephen

UPDATE: 1.50pm: Ms Stafford has been located and will be taken to hospital for assessment.

Police have launched a land search for a woman missing near Pannawonica in the Pilbara region.

Ms Stafford has been missing since yesterday.

Hazel Stafford is understood to have been a passenger in a vehicle that became bogged about 20km east of the town site in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The 55-year-old reportedly started to walk back to Pannawonica, but has not been seen since.

Ms Stafford is described as having light brown skin, with a medium build, dark hair, brown eyes and about 152cm tall.

She was last seen wearing dark clothing.

Police believe Ms Stafford has no water, food, or communication equipment with her, and officers are concerned for her welfare.

Locals, the SES, and police are conducting the search.

Anyone who sees Ms Stafford is urged to contact police immediately on 131 444.

Anyway, glad she was found.

It sounds a little as if she may have been an indigenous Australian, in which case she probably knows more about survival than any of us.

Hope the “experts” on here conduct themselves with more dignity than the previous two threads on this topic.

Even a little dignity would be a bonus.

Experts you say ~ I've only ever known the definition of an 'expert' to be, and this is backed up by mathematics and science.

X is an unknown and a spurt to be a drip under pressure!

Yes indeed expert(s) covers it very nicely.

Safe travels : Joe

Experts on Exploroz forum....

They often shoot off their mouth before knowing the complete full story.

Get into a argy bargy with others over petty stuff

Have the highly reclusive armchair critic furniture that gets well used

And lastly but not least
Bought a keyboard from the keyboard warrior store ( behind the staff door at officeworks )
Specific model of keyboard where you need to lack empathy. ... self arrogance and im right... your wrong...
Ive never made a mistake or did something wrong
But mr or miss or mrs perfect

I know it all... and even if im wrong
Im right.....
Your WRONG

God help us all

Shane - The media is too lazy to update news stories properly and thoroughly.

They leave the original outdated story intact, and just provide a two-line "Update" at the start of the story.

This woman is a dill, no matter how you look at it.
Fancy leaving a bogged vehicle in the North of W.A., to walk back to town, with no water!
You just got to wonder about where some people leave their brains.

Cheers, Ron.

Ron, think about it, says she hasnt been seen since leaving the car. Does this mean someone else was there and stayed with the car? Did she argue the point or was it a group decision? Guess we will never know.
These results will take a turn for the worst soon when its10 degrees hotter up here.
