Hi everyone,
here is a link to a video I made of the tracks along Poison Creek - Cape Arid National Park. Worth a visit with good camping/ fishing if you are in the Esperance area. The clip is a bit hazy due to the bush fires smoke coming from the Norseman and Eyre Highway. Anyway gives you some idea of how remote and rugged this area is.
Cheers
Mike

We're you towing a camper trailer or van, and where did you make your main camping base? We will be towing a 20ft off road caravan.Loved the quality of your video .
We are heading there February for a couple of weeks, just love the beaches down there.

Hi Gerald,
this time around we didn't camp out at Poison Creek due to peak period, we did a day trip from Lucky Bay.
Camping out at Cape Arid is first in ,first served basis; no bookings. Have in the past though. As for caravan camping at Poison Creek ( camp grounds are Seal Creek and Jorndee Creek ) are not suitable for anything except a camper trailer or tent as the sites are small.
Thomas River (rebuilt since the last fire went through) maybe possible but again caters more for small caravans, camper trailers and tents .
Poison Creek is definitely 4 wd , Thomas River 2wd.

C heers
Mike
