Axle, we have had 50mm here in the Central West NSW in the last week. Some more on the way luckily with our
dam level at 1.5% and Level 4 water restrictions. Michael

The funny thing is on 27/1/2020 the BOM issued a rainfall outlook map with virtually no rain expected on the East Coast. This was of course after they also predicted no worthwhile rain until April.
It just goes to show how difficult it is to predict the weather using multi million computers.

They are not called the Bureau Of Mistakes for nothing. They also don't recall the past temperatures experienced in Australia. Many farmers can predict the weather far better and so can animals, ants especially. Apparently the BOM don't have an ant colony in their computer or near them for observation and verification purposes.

Yep lived in the bush most of my life & the ants ALWAYS get it right.
When we lived near the Vic Alps the Gang Gang Cockies used to stay in our lowland forest a couple of days before the first Winter snows on the peaks. Commented on it every year & sure enough the snow would come 2 days later.

The Bureau Of Mistakes, would not recognize a Gang Gang Cockatoo or ant mounds as important. They are
cave dwellers who sit in offices and recalibrate history to suit what is expected of them by some groups. The rains, which would never come again according to Tim Flannery is slowly putting out the fires, Adam Bandt, (not Adam Ant), relies on to prove global something.

Brisbane Saturday morning headed for
Portland, currently in
Broken Hill and today is the first bit of sun we’ve seen. Moonie Hwy had water across it in atleast half a dozen spots between Moonie and
St George, huge amount of water all through there. A nice storm that arvo came through
Hebel and saw others near
Dirranbandi also.....
Dirranbandi looks to have mostly missed what surrounding areas had gotten. Water everywhere from
Hebel through to
Walgett, though
Brewarrina looked to have missed out. Roads out on
Darling River Run are closed currently, as are ones around
Cobar we looked at heading South on.
Bourke to
Cobar was water everywhere and heard the highway has been closed several times (we got through in time), rained the whole way from
Cobar to
Wilcannia just about, though 5klms from
Wilcannia the rain stopped.
Wilcannia looks to have missed out, though this morning we woke to light rain there, hopefully they get abit more there as they need it.

Broken Hill and
Wentworth on the Silver City Hwy
